Love the idea that managers are also often makers. There’s a lot of creativity that goes on when you aren’t necessarily coaching an individual or directing a team.
And, I think it is possible for people to feel a sense of flow in a meeting that has been highly structured like a workshop, where they are given clear problems to solve, exercises to do together, and a path to synthesize as a group. When people collaborate in a structured manner, with a good facilitator, they experience flow as a group!
